Today, we are learning something new and fun. We are learning to peel beans with a blender or food processor or should I say removing beans coat from scratch in easy steps.
Say goodbye to waiting hours for soaked before you can peel it or hand peeling. Right let us get to it, it is super quick and fast.
I have heard about how you can peel beans using a blender or food processor, I never really paid any attention to it as I am very comfortable using my hands to peel. I made Akara recently and I thought now would be a good time to try it. I tell you, I had my doubts and I kept saying to myself, if it doesn't turn out right, I would just use it like that. Boy was I wrong, it works like magic and was pretty quick too. The whole process took roughly about 10 minutes which is not bad at all considering I used a small amount of beans.
If you have not tried this method and you have a blender or food processor, you are missing. When next you want to make akara or moi moi for you and your family, do try this quick method out. It would be worth your time.
